About the campaign.

The Homes Not Hotels Delaware campaign is a Grass Roots Initiative intiated by a couple in Wilmington that has been impacted by the rapid proliferation of short-term rental properties within residential areas of the city. We are residents advocating for change and working to solve a problem that negatively impacts our city.

This website is dedicated to raising awareness regarding regulations aimed at removing non owner occupied short term rental properties, which are already in violation of city and county zoning laws, from residential areas in Wilmington.

Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, New York and hundreds of municipalities have similar regulations already in place, as does New Castle County.

We cannot do this alone! Please support the current push to regulate and restrict non owner occupied short term rentals of under 30 days within our city.
